First carefully mark the reflective tape with masking tape and remove the backing strip.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lightupcane.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/05-Masking-tape-to-lay-stright-line.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Lay the glass fiber tube exactly along the reflecting tape and press it neatly along the edge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lightupcane.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/10-Aligning-rod.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It should look like this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lightupcane.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/15-once-rod-is-perfectly-aligned.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" \/>Remove masking tape and gently roll up, always press the tape over the entire length of the rod.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lightupcane.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/25-Rolling-tape-on-rod.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">This is what it should look like then.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lightupcane.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/30-rolling-tape-done.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" \/>Plug the end of one side of the rod.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lightupcane.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/35-Plug-one-end-prior-to-wrapping-with-shrink-tape.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" \/>Cut the shrink tube to size, it is difficult to pass over the tube, if you inflate it you can more easily get the tube over the glass fiber tube. That is why the glass fiber tube must be capped at one end.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>TOP TIP: Blow some talc powder in the tube, this will really make the job so much easier!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lightupcane.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/45-Blow-up-shrink-tube-to-allow-pass-over-rod.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Then shrink the shrink film with a paint stripper, Debby is totally focused, the result will be great!
